The stars were out and the boots were shining at the 60th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, broadcast live from Frisco, Texas, on May 8, 2025. And what a night it was for Lainey Wilson and Ella Langley — the two powerhouse women who walked away with some of the night’s biggest wins.
🔥 Lainey Wilson: Back-to-Back Queen of Country
Lainey Wilson solidified her superstar status by winning Entertainer of the Year for the second year in a row — a feat that puts her in rare company. She’s clearly not slowing down anytime soon.
🚀 Ella Langley: A Breakout Night
Ella Langley had a night to remember, taking home four major awards, including New Female Artist of the Year. Talk about a rising star — country fans will want to keep her on their radar.
👏 Old Dominion: Still Untouchable
In the group category, Old Dominion continued their dominance, picking up Group of the Year for the eighth year in a row. That’s a record-breaking run that no other group has matched in ACM history.
